OBVESTILA
Today, the District Court of Maribor issued a decision on entering into the court register the merger by acquisition of Poštna banka Slovenije by Nova KBM.

As a result, Poštna banka Slovenije ceased to exist as an independent legal entity, with all its obligations and rights being transferred to Nova KBM d.d., its legal successor. The merged bank will not only provide its customers with a broader range of contemporary banking services suited to their needs, but will also be closer to them and more accessible, given its country-wide branch network. Customer service is unaffected by the merger procedure, and customers do not need to visit the bank as a result of changes arising from this process.

The merged bank, which took on the employees of Poštna banka Slovenije, operates under the name Nova KBM d.d., with its head office being in Maribor, at Ulica Vita Kraigherja 4. The composition of the Nova KBM Management Board remains unchanged: Robert Senica acts as the President, while Sabina Župec Kranjc serves as a Management Board member. Senica and Župec Kranjc will soon be joined by Josef Gröblacher and Jon Locke, both of whom the Supervisory Board appointed as new Management Board members. Poštna banka Slovenije´s corporate brand will be gradually replaced by the corporate brand and the overall corporate identity of Nova KBM.

The registration of the acquisition with the relevant court represents a key milestone in the process of integrating Poštna banka Slovenije and Nova KBM as well as the start of an important period in which the Nova KBM Group´s banking operations will be subject to further consolidation.

This merger will help Nova KBM strengthen its market position and pursue the strategic objective of becoming the leading bank in Slovenia. The long-lasting banking tradition, the comprehensive range of contemporary banking services offered, as well as the expertise, reliability and experience of both banks in delivering banking products through an extensive post office network will also greatly contribute to achieving its objectives. Nova KBM will continue to work with its strategic partner, Pošta Slovenije, with which the Nova KBM Group has always had an excellent relationship, on the development of first-class services designed for their joint customers. The merged Nova KBM will continue to concentrate on providing and further upgrading its offering of top-notch contemporary financial services, while contributing to the development of the economic and social environment in which it operates.
