How can Nova KBM help in financing a sustainable project?
Nova KBM has available funding sources for green companies and production. These sources include funding the Bank borrows from SID (Slovenian Export and Development Company) and EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) funding. We invite you to present your wishes and plans to us in greater detail. You can contact your relationship manager or send an email to info@nkbm.si. We will do our best to find the most suitable solution for you.
What green products and services does Nova KBM have in its product offering?
The Bank’s product offering includes a diverse range of green products and services. We invite you to get to know and start using them. This way, you can meet your banking needs much faster, all while making a significant contribution to reducing the volume of paper used, save yourself a trip to a branch office, and reduce your carbon footprint.

How can I arrange a sponsorship or donation from the Bank?
At the end of every year (commonly in December) Nova KBM publishes a tender to apply for sponsorships and donations. We consider all applications in accordance with our business goals and commonly notify candidates of our decision by the end of February.

Which Nova KBM clients need to complete an ESG questionnaire to take out a loan and why?
The ESG questionnaire was introduced into our lending process on 1 July 2021 in accordance with our adopted ESG Strategy and EU banking regulations. The questionnaire has been an integral part of the credit documentation ever since.
As a responsible financial institution, Nova KBM is actively involved in the fulfilment of global goals regarding sustainable development, transition to low-carbon business, and other goals that are important for society as a whole. The questionnaire aims to ensure timely and prudent identification of ESG risks that may have an important impact on a company’s operations in the future. Your company will be assigned an ESG risk rating based on the completed questionnaire.
